Sharapova beats Lisicki to reach Madrid quarters (Yahoo! Sports)

MADRID (AP) -- Second-seeded Maria Sharapova beat Sabine Lisicki of Germany 6-2, 7-5 Thursday to advance to the quarterfinals of the Madrid Open.
